On being over-confident about the win

I was not over-confident about my win. I knew that only hard work can take a person ahead in life and so I gave everything to the show. On the premiere night when I was getting rejected by everyone, I made it clear, I will win the show. Because of my past shows (Roadies and Splitsvilla) I knew the youth was connected to me. I just needed to work hard. I did that and they voted for me. I am thankful to God and fans that they made it possible.

On housemates perception change

During the BB9 premiere night, when everyone was rejecting me, I got agitated as I felt how could they judge someone beforehand. I decided to teach them a lesson, then. However, after entering the house all that vanished and I promised myself that I will change their perception. I will win everyone's heart. Then, by second week, when they saw my behaviour and passion towards the tasks, I started gaining support. I got many advantages in the house. I was nominated only thrice, and the only one to become a captain thrice.

Were you nervous about your win after Kishwer's exit

Yes, I was. After Kishwer's exit, I went into a depression. We had performed very well during that task. The task continued the entire day, but only 45 minutes of footage was shown. Viewers judged me in that 45 minutes episode and thought I did wrong to Kishwer. But only Kishwer and I knew everything that happened). Whatever decision we took we was decided mutually. I told her since I had won shows back-to-back, audiences were better connected with me. It would be the right decision, if I stayed back. So we decided mutually Kishwer will take home Rs 15 lakhs and I will get the remaining Rs 35 lakhs (smiles). However, the way it was shown, people thought I emotionally blackmailed Kishwer and took advantage of her.

On his love-life in the Bigg Boss house

It is Nora Fatehi, for me. I know she said few things after coming out. When you are staying with 15 strangers in the Bigg Boss house, it is very easy to get attracted to one person. However, you get to know the real feelings when you come out of the house. So now that I am out, we will spend some time with each other and take our relationship ahead. For now we like each other and love is too big word top commit. I would like break the jinx of the Bigg Boss house ( that relationships don't last long) by taking our relationship to the next level.

On his fights with Mandana

I think it is her personality. She is not a bad person. She made it very clear in the beginning that she is not going to make friends in the house and we respect that. But what I never liked about her is that she tried to play a victim card and pretended that she was a target, which she was not.

I thought Mandana might win the show

She always played the victim card very well. She is upfront and speaks her mind. She is very strong as a person. With the release of her film, I thought she had better chances of winning the show.

Winning Moment

I was very nervous. Salman sir was pulling my leg. I trusted my hard work and felt that I have high chances of winning. I just stood there. I waited for the moment when Salman sir lifted my hand.

Prize Money

I am donating Rs 5 lakh from the winning amount to Salman sir's charity foundation, Being Human. My dad has given me everything and done a lot for me, it is my turn to do something for him.

No more reality shows for me

I will try to stay away from reality shows for a while now. I had signed up a show with ANDTV for Rashmi Sharma Productions, but couldn't start it because of 'Bigg Boss'. I was offered 'Bigg Boss' and AND TV's show at the same time, so I requested them to let me go ahead with BB9 and they agreed.

Working with Salman Khan

Like everyone else, even I want to share screen space with him. He gives work to everyone. But I believe in achieving things by working hard. If someday he feels that my hard work is worthy enough, I might work with him.

Salman Khan as a host

I don't think there can be a better host than Salman Khan for Bigg Boss. He guides and treats everyone equally. I owe my win to Salman sir. Whenever I went wrong he guided me and whenever I did something right, he appreciated me. Like the entire world, I also love Salman Khan.
