74% Argentinians would buy and use cryptocurrencies: Survey

The survey that was published on May 4, collected data by surveying 2,400 people online who represented different socioeconomic sectors throughout the country.
The new survey established the fact that 90 percent the people living in Argentina have heard about cryptocurrencies, although only 38 per cent claim to be adequately informed about the operation and mechanism.

The survey revealed the following important findings:
* A good 90 per cent of Argentinans have heard about cryptocurrencies, while only 38 percent of them are well-informed about the operation and mechanism.
- On the knowledge about cryptocurrencies, 32 per cent said that they know about the phenomenon, 58 per cent said that they have heard about it and are also well-informed about everything regarding crypto, and 10 per cent were completely unaware of cryptocurrencies.
* Almost 3 out of 4 citizens, about 74 per cent want to purchase cryptocurrency to invest, or as a way of preserving buying power or savings.
- Out of 74 per cent , 63 per cent of the citizens were interested in saving and investment issues, however only 38 per cent were sufficiently informed about the right mechanisms available to do so.
* In the gender and age-specific predisposition towards crypto, men are ranked higher at 77 per cent than women at 71 per cent.
- The inclination towards purchasing crypto agewise is higher in younger people with 85 per cent for centennials and 78 per cent for millennials, than in people older at 77 per cent for Generation X and 59 per cent for baby boomers.
* When it comes to the confidence and trust of public in the various investment classes, dollar occupied the first place at 78 per cent , followed by virtual wallets like
* Crypto assets were followed by stocks at 41 per cent and place bonds at 34 per cent .
