The Georgian firm will go about selling the NFTs in auction by following this process:
- In the first of three planned phases of the ‘Russia for Sale' initiative, Leavingstone will be auctioning off 2,443 territories of the Russian Federation which are depicted on playing cards with name, size, and a weirdly authentic coat of arms.
- Each
* One can choose one or many regions from the Russian map for buying these NFTs.
- In the second stage, the Georgian agency will put up the NFTs representing Russian buildings, Kremlin, Ostankino Tower, Winter palace, Putin's personal house and the bunker for sale.
- In the last phase of sale, Lenin will be put on auction.
- The website states that 100 percent proceeds from all these activities will be directed in support of Ukraine.
* The main beneficiary of the funds would be the Ministry of Digital Transformation in Kyiv and all collected funds will be transferred to its wallet
- The digital currency firm has already raised an amount of $21159 so far by selling 40 lands in the form of digital collectibles and shows 2403 lands up for sale.
The website which is named as ‘Russia for Sale’ states ‘We are selling Russia piece by piece and transferring collected money to help Ukrainian people rebuild their country.’
The co-founder of Leavingstone Levan Lefsveridze was quoted as saying to the Georgian service of Radio Free Europe on the NFT auction ‘We saw a huge potential in it, a majority of people would want to be involved in Russia’s partition'.
