Cryptocurrency prices today: Dogecoin surges 5%, Shiba Inu jumps 22%

The global crypto market cap is at $2.56 trillion, 0.69 percent down over the previous day, data from coinmarketcap.com shows.

In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin is down 2 percent to $56,428. The crypto has gained 0.75 percent in the last week.

Ethereum has increased by nearly 2 percent over the previous day and is priced at $4,416. It has gained 7 percent in the last week.

In the previous day, Solana is down 1 percent and Cardano has shed 2 percent to touch $201 and $1.56, respectively. Polkadot is down around 1 percent to $35.79.

Dogecoin has gained nearly 5 percent and is priced at $0.21, while Shiba Inu has jumped a massive 22 percent in the last 24 hours.
