Cryptocurrency prices today: Shiba Inu surges 20%, Dogecoin gains 17%

NEW DELHI: The global crypto market cap is down over 3 percent to $2.51 trillion over the previous day, data from coinmarketcap.com shows.


Bitcoin has lost around 2.7 per cent in the last 24 hours and is trading below $60,000. Over the previous week, the crypto has shed more than 8 percent.

Ethereum is down around 5 per cent to $4,026. In the last week, it has decreased nearly 3 per cent.

Solana and

XRP

have shed over 5 per cent over the last day. They are priced at $188 and $1, respectively. Polkadot is down over 7 per cent to $41.

Dogecoin

has gained around 17 per cent in the last day and 20 per cent in the previous week. The meme-based crypto is trading at $0.29.

Shiba Inu coin or SHIB has surged nearly 20 per cent in the last day and around 150 per cent in the last week.
