NEW DELHI: There will be a total of 11 bank holidays in November including the second and fourth Saturday and Sunday, according to the Reserve Bank of India. There were nearly 21 bank holidays in the month of October.
Internet banking services and ATM service will continue to be operational on bank holidays as well.
Bank holidays in November: On November 1, banks will remain closed in Bengaluru and Imphal on account of Kannada rajyotsava/Kut.
On November 8, banks will remain closed in Aizwal, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubhaneshwar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Hyderabad. Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartika Purnima/Rahas Purnima.
On November 11, banks will remain closed in Bengaluru, Imphal and Shillong on account of Kanakadasa Jayanthi/Wangala festival
On November 23, banks will remain closed in Shillong on account of Seng Kutsnem
