Kredent Infoedge eyes Rs 100cr valuation
Kolkata: City-based fintech startup
Kredent, an e-learning market place, has already attracted an investment from ace investors Ramesh Damani and IndiaMart owner Dinesh Agarwal last year as pre-series A funding. Damani who has major holdings in some bluechips had invested Rs 8 crore in Kredent earlier.
The founders now have 92% in this fintech startup. The founders have so far diluted only 8% in the first round of funding. “Last year, our valuation was Rs 45 crore. This year, it should be more than double,” he added.
Kredent InfoEdge started its journey as Kredent Academy with an aim to simplify finance for all. The academy has crossed over 10,000 students with 20+ certified courses by NSC and MCX.
Its second venture Elearnmarkets, which was established in 2015, offers over 100 e-learning courses in finance and has trained more than 1,50,000 learners till now. It offers various career-oriented courses with joint certification from NSE Academy, NCDEX and MCX and expert led boot camps, seminars and webinars.
In 2016, Kredent InfoEdge had introduced StockEdge, a self-help stock market analytics app that has been downloaded by more than a million investors till date. It has recently introduced a premium plan and the StockEdge Club, a community of stock market investors. “Our app is 4.7-rated finance app in Google Playstore, which is the highest. It has one billion data points,” Bajaj added.
He pointed out that in the next phase, it will help people in transaction. “In the next two quarters, execution framework will be ready,” he said.
