Times Business Award 2023: Destination Lucknow

The various industries that were awarded in the evening were manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, jewellery, fashion, education, real estate, printing, advertising, and communications. The evening started with a discussion panel on sustainability and how selling sustainable products remained a challenge for many marketing campaigns for years until the preference changed from the consumer’s side. Today, not only in consumables but also in the commodities we use, the food we eat, or the fabric we wear, sustainability has taken over our preferences. Further, sustainability has immensely evolved over the last 10 years, with sustainable development becoming a central element in our everyday life. In this evolution we have seen how our industries have become more sophisticated, managing, for example, to predict environmental events, providing valuable reaction and time mitigation. Human development and environmental protection have been a significant and most obvious benefit of sustainable industrial development. It has provided plenty of job opportunities for all societal groups, as well as improved working conditions for all employees.

The event featured an engaging panel discussion on sustainability led by Pravin Kumar, Editor, TOI Lucknow; Dr. Pankaj Kumar Srivastava; Senior Principal Scientist NBRI/CSIR; Ajit Sharma, Founder & Chairperson Movers Federation of India (MFI); and Aditi Jaggi Rastogi, Designer and Consultant UPKVIB.

Methodology:

i3RC has developed a nominee assessment form and an objective analytical framework to assess the nominees for Times Business Awards Destination Lucknow 2023 in various categories. The assessment focuses on:

• General profile and background of the nominees

• The kind of work being done with a focus on innovation and unique value propositions

• Contribution to the business world/ industry and society at large. In addition, the feedback of each nominee was assessed through multiple tools such as social media profile scan and customers/ colleagues or public feedback. All data were objectively analyzed to assess the eligibility and suitability of the nominee for the award.

At the end of the survey, a list of all nominations along with their scores and work were assessed from actual and perceptual data, and feedback was submitted to the OMS team.
