TOI Budget Dialogues 2026 to decode Union Budget with industry, policy and economic leaders
The Times of India will host TOI Budget Dialogues 2026, a high-impact, post-Budget conclave in New Delhi on February 3. Beyond buzzwords and headlines, the event aims to unpack the Budget’s deeper economic and social implications through structured, expert-led conversations.
Anchored by the theme “March Towards Viksit Bharat”, TOI Budget Dialogues 2026 will examine how the Budget aligns with India’s long-term development vision and growth roadmap. Bringing together thought leaders from industry, policy, finance and the broader economic ecosystem, the conclave will focus on what the Budget truly signals for India’s economic future.
The day-long conclave will feature a series of panel discussions and fireside chats, offering key insights into the announcements made in the Budget across sectors. Through keynotes, focused sectoral conversations and a forward-looking India@2047 dialogue, the event seeks to decode the impact of the Budget on citizens, corporates and sectors.
The first panel discussion ‘Budget Uncluttered’ will cut through the noise surrounding Budget announcements to decode the government’s real economic intent. The session will focus on critical allocations, reforms and omissions to assess the long-term impact of the Budget on businesses, industry and citizens.
The second panel ‘March Towards Viksit Bharat’ will explore India’s growth journey. It will examine the key drivers of growth - technology, infrastructure, innovation and policy reform - and discuss how coordinated efforts between government, industry and institutions can translate vision into effective execution while ensuring inclusive and sustainable progress.
In ‘Budget and Aam Aadmi’, the spotlight will shift to everyday impact. This panel will simplify complex policy decisions to assess how Budget announcements affect taxation, inflation, employment, social welfare and cost of living, offering a clear understanding of what truly changes for households and individual financial choices.
The fourth panel ‘Looking Forward’ will present a long-term perspective, envisioning India in 2047. Discussions will centre on strategic priorities, emerging sectors and policy interventions required to bridge existing gaps, address structural challenges and strengthen India’s role in the global economy through innovation, talent and investment.
Complementing the panels will be two fireside chats. The first, on Manufacturing and Make in India, will delve into Budget priorities supporting domestic manufacturing, PLI schemes, MSME growth, credit access, supply-chain integration, infrastructure, logistics, skilling and future readiness. The second fireside chat, AI, Digital India and Startups, will examine Budget emphasis on artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure and innovation, alongside startup ecosystem growth, funding, skilling, digital jobs, data governance and responsible AI frameworks.
With TOI Budget Dialogues 2026, The Times of India aims to create a credible platform for informed analysis, helping stakeholders decode the Budget against the backdrop of India’s progress. You can watch the conclave live on Feb 3, 2026 at 9:30am here.
