Leverage.biz appoints Arjun Mehta as its first CFO to spearhead financial strategy
Leverage.biz, the driving force behind the prominent study abroad platform LeverageEdu, student finance arm Fly Finance, and student accommodations division Fly Homes, has appointed Arjun Mehta as its first Chief Financial Officer. Mehta has previously worked at organizations such as Revolut, American Express, and Apple.
During his tenure as CFO for American Express India in the early 2010s, Mehta not only managed financial affairs but also took charge of overseeing finance for Apple's India business. His most recent role saw him serve as the CFO of the UK fintech giant Revolut.
Expressing his excitement about the new addition to the team, Founder & CEO Akshay Chaturvedi said, "I have known Arjun for a very long time, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him onboard as our first CFO. He is a great complement to the rest of the leadership team and brings the kind of discipline that we’d like to have at this stage now. It’s been two weeks since he’s here, and I can already see the different angle he brings into every conversation, so I am, of course, super excited."
Arjun Mehta, also shared his enthusiasm, stating, "I am excited about working at Leverage Edu and with Akshay Chaturvedi, a visionary in his own right, whose journey I have witnessed closely over the last decade. Leverage is onto a very exciting mission, and I am glad to be working with this phenomenal team that Akshay has carefully built over the last few years."
