Agartala: The Bangladesh assistant high commission in Agartala on Tuesday celebrated the 54th Independence and National Day of Bangladesh with several programmes here to respect the struggle of the nation and commemorate the history of the Liberation War against West Pakistan, reports Biswendu Bhattacharjee.On Monday, the officials observed Massacre Day in the Assistant High Commission complex by switching off the lights and lighting candles to protest the killing of hundreds of Hindus by the Pakistani army in Dhaka University and several other places in East Pakistan before liberation.
