police seized 360 plants of opium in the raid, which was conducted at 6:10 pm on Tuesday.

According to police, Singh, a farmer, would sell opium milk to local shops to earn some extra bucks. He was booked under section 8/18 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act, 1985.

According to sources, Jadon would produce milk by incising the stalk of an opium plant.

Talking to TOI, Pramod Kumar, SP East, Agra said, “Following a tip-off, cops seized 360 opium plants from a farmer, Ramsingh Jadon (60) of Shamshabad. He was booked under the NDPS Act. Anyone involved in such illegal business will face strict action.”
