Agra: Officials of the Military Hospital at Agra Military Station on Wednesday held a meeting with representatives of hospitals empanelled under the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) to improve healthcare services for veterans and their dependents in western Uttar Pradesh.
ECHS provides healthcare services to ex-servicemen through a network of polyclinics and empanelled hospitals across the country.
Military hospital commandant Brigadier Ajay Kumar said the meeting focused on improving patient care and coordination among empanelled hospitals, ECHS polyclinics and service hospital authorities.
“Key issues discussed included prescription of generic medicines as per ECHS policy, timely approval and reimbursement of claims, proper documentation for unlisted medical procedures and strengthening grievance redressal mechanisms,” he said.
Officials from Regional Centre ECHS Bareilly, Station Headquarters Agra, and ECHS polyclinics in Agra, Etah, Mainpuri and Firozabad attended the meeting.
