Man found hanging, family alleges murder over 200 dispute

Agra: A 31-year-old man was found hanging from a tree in Sirrela village, Mathura district, on Sunday.According to the complaint filed by Vasudev Baghel's cousin, Pratham Singh, neighbours murdered Vasudev over Rs 200 dispute and then hanged his body to stage it as a suicide. He also alleged that the accused had assaulted Vasudev on Saturday night. Police registered a case against the neighbours under Section 103 of the BNS (murder) and launched a probe.Mant circle officer Gunjan Singh said the body had been sent for autopsy, and an investigation was underway.
