: Day after an 11-year-old teenager was found murdered in a mustard field of Kasganj district in UP, local police have booked his neighbour.
Netrpal Singh (38), a resident of Nagla Kothi of Sidhpura police jurisdiction, was booked under IPC sections 302 (murder). According to police, after the incident accused is on run.
On Thursday morning, teenager Rajnesh Singh's body was recovered 100 metres away from his home in the mustard field. An autopsy report confirmed that the victim was smothered to death. He was missing since Wednesday evening.
Speaking to TOI, Rajkumar Singh, station house officer of Sidhpura, said, “Initial probe suggests that Netrpal murdered Rajnesh after the victim verbally abused and engaged in fist fight with his (accused) son Neeru, while playing a game.
