Video of Etmadpur chairperson showering notes on social worker goes viral

, is seen showering currency notes on a woman social worker at an event organized by the civic body on Wednesday.

The video, shot on a mobile phone, also shows a bar girl performing at the event that was attended by several other politically-affiliated residents of the area. The incident took place at an ongoing fair but the video was leaked on Thursday.

Speaking to TOI, sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) of Etmadpur, Rajnish Mishra, said, “We are probing the matter to ascertain where the video was shot and find out the chairperson’s role in it.”
