Dhairya, Manyah star in GCI ‘B’ win

Ahmedabad: Dhairya Patel scored a century and Manyah Shah bagged a five-for as Gujarat Cricket Institute (GCI) ‘B’ crushed GSA by 237 runs in their match at the SPCT U-16 Cricket Tornament here on Wednesday. Batting first, GCI ‘B’ scored 298 for four in 50 overs. Dhairya scored an unbeaten 115, while Bhavya Patel made 58. For GSA, Kavya Patel took two for 53. In reply, GSA had no answer to the guile of leg-break bowler Manyah who took five wickets for six runs. Devarsh Trivedi took two for nine as GSA were all out for 61 in 20.5 overs. Dhairya and Manyah shared the man of the match award. Massive wins for RBI SRC and Sharp Shooters FC: Reserve Bank of India, SRC beat Shahibaugh FC by 6-0 in their ADFA First Division League match here on Wednesday. Manav Vyas and Dharmesh Parmar scored a brace each for RBI, while Ankit Thakor and Shubham Chauhan netted one each. In the other match of the day, Sharp Shooters FC trounced Tribal FC 8-0. Sonu Chaudhary scored a hattrick for the winners, while Klinsman Arlindo was on the target twice. Jayendra Grum, Priyesh Kumar and Nikhit Fernandes scored one goal each.
