Gandhinagar: On Saturday, the state BJP had a day-long workshop to train around 450 workers, who are in charge of social media campaigns in various districts.
The state BJP general secretary Bhikhu Dalsaniya, media in-charge Bharat Pandya, Harshad Patel and senior leader Kaushik Patel briefed workers about the party's plan for social media ahead of the 2017 assembly elections.
Bharat Pandya said: "BJP will make thrust to reach out to voters through social media in the coming days. Today party workers were asked about the new mobile app called 'Narendra Modi' by which people can know about the development work done by the BJP-led NDA government. In the coming days workers will publicize this app and fight against the propaganda by opposition parties."
