Gujarat: Hall tickets for TET-1 uploaded; exam on April 16

AHMEDABAD: The state examination board has uploaded hall tickets for the Teacher Eligibility Test 1 (TET 1). Candidates will be able to download the tickets from the board’s official website.

TET 1 will be conducted on April 16 while TET 2 will be held on April 23. TET, the eligibility test to secure a teaching job in government schools, is conducted twice a year. TET 1 is for those seeking who want to teach classes 1-5 and TET 2 is for those aspiring to teach classes 6-8.

In all, 87,000 candidates have registered for TET 1.

The notification for the TET examination was issued in October 2022 and was expected to be conducted in February or March however, due to some reasons the examination was delayed to April. tnn
