Ahmedabad: A
Sabarmati resident has filed a complaint under the Land Grabbing Act, stating that shops have been illegally built on his land.

, 44, filed a complaint against Hitesh Solanki on Friday. Kishore told Sabarmati police that his family has land measuring 71.19 sq m in the area, which had been bought from
Mohamad Idrish Shaikh
and
Nasuralla Shaikh
. Kishore said the deal had been registered with the registrar’s office in January 2021.
Kishore said that when he applied for some papers related to his land, he got documents which showed an iron shop and two mutton shops on his land. He later found out that Hitesh had constructed the shops and had rented them out.
Kishore said that he sought his community members’ help to get the land vacated.
Kishore said that when he tried to construct a wall around his land, Hitesh claimed ownership and told him to back off.
Kishore filed a complaint with the district land grabbing committee, which advised him to file a police complaint. So Kishore eventually approached Sabarmati police.
