Mahamana Express to connect Indore with Veraval

Western Railways

has decided to introduce a new weekly train Mahamana Express connecting

Indore-Ahmedabad-Veraval

. The train will leave from Indore on Tuesday and will arrive on Wednesday, while the same train will leave Veraval on Thursday and reach Indore on Friday.

The service will be inaugurated by Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Friday. The weekly train will also halt at Godhra, Ahmedabad, Rajkot stations apart from Surendranagar, Wakaner, Dwar, Ujjain and Ratlam. The train will leave from Indore at 10.25 pm on Tuesday and will arrive at Ahmedabad at 8.25 am on Wednesday and will reach Veraval at 6.05 pm. Further on its journey back the train will leave Veraval at 8.45 am and will reach Ahmedabad at 5.40 pm.

The train will leave from Ahmedabad at 6 pm on Thursday and will reach Indore at 4.45 am on Friday. Sources I the railways said that the after Indore-Jagannath Puri-Indore and Indore-Hyderabad-Indore Humsafar Express, this is another train service launched from Indore. It will be a 16-coach train, which will have seven sleeper coaches, two AC-III, one AC-II, four general and two seating cum luggage coaches.

Officials said that this train will also give more connectivity to Somnath and Ujjain the places of worship of lord shiva.
