Officials told to visit zones daily

Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad municipal commissioner has ordered zonal officials of the estate and town development department to take rounds of their wards and zones every morning from 7am to 9am to clear encroachments.AMC chief M Thennarasan issued an order on March 3 asking deputy estate commissioners and deputy town development officers to visit their respective zones and wards for two hours daily to ensure that the streets and roads are free of encroachments. tnn
