Ahmedabad: The Airport police on on Friday arrested one Krishan Patel, a resident of Salpura in Bodeli, who attempted to travel by Qatar Airways on a fake ticket.
Based on a complaint by a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, Kapil Verma, a case was lodged on Friday under IPC 465 (punishment for forgery), 467 (forgery of valuable security, will), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 471 (using as genuine a forged document).
Verma in his complaint stated that while he was on night duty on August 18, a staffer of Qatar Airways brought Patel to him and informed that Patel wanted to travel to Doha on a ticket which was not issued by the airline.
On questioning the youth, he said that he himself had created the ticket and wanted to fly by Qatar Airways flight QR-535.TNN
