Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnesses IAF Suryakiran flypast at Somnath temple
Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday witnessed an Indian Air Force flypast by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team during the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav celebrations at Somnath temple in Gujarat.
According to the release, Modi said the event reflected a “confluence of pride and valour” and added that the display spread the aura of saffron and the tricolour over the temple.
In a post on X quoted in the release, Modi said, “In Somnath today, the skies witnessed a magnificent confluence of pride and valour. The Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Team showcased a breathtaking flypast. This spirit of Bhakti and Shakti filled every heart with deep joy (sic).”
