State govt assigns new charges to IAS, GAS officials

Gandhinagar: The state govt on Thursday issued charge arrangement orders for four IAS officers and one GAS officer. Vijay Kharadi, MD of Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation, will hold additional charge of commissioner of fisheries, replacing N K Meena who was transferred earlier.K C Sampat, MD of iNDEXTb, will hold additional charge of additional industries commissioner. Adra Agrawal, commissioner of cottage and rural industries, will hold additional charge of MD of Gujarat State Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation.V I Patel, additional commissioner of Gujarat Municipal Finance Board, will hold additional charge of mission director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) and mission director of Gujarat Urban Livelihood Mission.GAS officer Mehul Desai, deputy municipal commissioner of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, was appointed as municipal commissioner of Gandhidham Municipal Corporation, replacing M P Pandya who was transferred earlier.
