To prevent litigation, RPSC to upload court judgments

Ajmer: Rajasthan Public Service Commission on Thursday decided to upload important decisions of Supreme Court and high courts related to the selection process so that candidates can know what issues the courts have already decided. This will also help RPSC avoid litigations and declare results on time, said RPSC chairman Sanjay Kumar Shrotriya.
“This is the first time any PSC (public service commission) has taken such an initiative," Shrotriya said. The chairman said that the process of selection often gets mired in litigation in different courts.
“Lakhs of candidates from the state and different parts of the country appear in the selection exams but some candidates without knowing the facts go to court. This wastes precious time of others,” Shrotriya said.
The most common litigations are related to answer keys, scaling of marks, category of selection, category change, etc.
