while he was going to file nomination for the UP assembly seat, defying the strict security measures, was found fake and misleading. The news also went viral on social media, on Saturday.
SP (Pratapgarh) Satpal said that the police have arrested a youth, identified as Shubham Singh alias Ashu, a resident of Meera Bhawan on Saturday evening, near Meera Bhawan crossing, after he had a dispute with tea stall owner.
A pistol was also seized from his possession. The arrested youth was found in an inebriated state during the arrest.
The arrested youth told police that he had a dispute with a tea stall owner and also admitted that he had also threatened the owner of dire consequences.
Youth also told police that he was alone at home and under the influence of alchol at day time since his family had goe to the village to attend a ‘grah-pravesh’ ceremony. He later went to a tea stall vendor, located 150 meters from the house, to enjoy tea in the afternoon hours.
“When the tea shop owner took enough time to serve tea to the youth due to sizable numberof customers, the youth had a dispute with him. The incident had to nothing to do with the SP candidate threatening incident,” police claimed.
Police also claimed that Kotwali police had gone through CCTV footages,

of mobiles and on spot investigation and established that neither SP nominee or his supporters had any dispute with the youth.
