Prayagraj STF busts exam fraud racket, kingpin among two arrested
Prayagraj: Sleuths of special task force (Prayagraj unit) on Thursday arrested two men, including the kingpin of a racket involved in cheating youths on the pretext of ensuring success in UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2025.
Police have also seized 21 photocopies of admit cards, two mobiles, three cheques, three copies of Aadhaar cards, four marksheets and 13 WhatsApp chat copies from their possession.
The arrest was made near Badagav area in Mugra Badhahpur (Jaunpur).
Kingpin, Raju Kumar Manjhi, confessed that he and his accomplices were involved in cheating aspirants of competitive exams on the pretext of ensuring success.
Police said Manjhi was arrested in 2022 as well on similar charges and faces two criminal cases.
