Official inspects doubling of railway tracks

Prayagraj: The Railway Safety Commissioner (NE zone), Pranjeev Saxena, conducted the safety inspection of 2.224 km rail section of Prayagraj Junction of North Central Railway - Prayagraj Rambagh of North Eastern Railway on Prayagraj - Varanasi section of Varanasi Division after completion of its doubling, and electrification work. Saxena reached Niranjan Bridge to inspect Prayagraj Junction - Prayagraj Rambagh block section and conducted a thorough inspection, load test, and formation test of the bridge. At Prayagraj Rambagh, he conducted inspection as per standards of doubling of the track. He checked aspects related to safety of passengers, including point crossing, switch extension joint, formation of the up line, platform clearance, and extension of the foot over the bridge. TNN
