Solver and RPF constable exam aspirant arrested

Prayagraj: A joint team of Sarayinayat police and the Special Operation Group (SOG) on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two members of paper solvers gang identified as Sujeet Kumar Maurya (26) and Rajeev Kumar Verma alias Raju Verma (30), both residents of Varanasi and seized one bluetooth device attached to a SIM device, three mobile sets, nine forged mark sheets, seven original mark sheets, four cheque books, one wireless device, and other documents from their possession.Police said that the arrest of both members of the paper solvers gang was made near SS Women Post Graduate College, Andhwa road, while they were attempting to solve the railway RPF constable exam. The accused were booked under section 8(3)\13 (5) UP Public Examination Act and other sections of BNS. A senior cop told reporters that the accused, Sujeet Kumar Maurya, an aspirant for the RPF constable exam and appearing in the exam at an Andhwa-based women's post-graduate college, was caught red-handed on Monday while using a bluetooth device. He was assisted by Rajeev Kumar Verma alias Raju Verma, who was sitting near a temple in the Sarayinayat area and helping the aspirant through bluetooth device to solve the paper. Police added that Rajeev used to seek for Rs 5 lakh per candidate on the pretext of paper solving and took Rs one lakh in advance. He also kept the original documents of aspirants with him and returned them to the aspirants only after receiving the remaining money. tnn
