VHP workers pledge to preserve religious culture
Prayagraj: On conclusion of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Kashi prant training camp on Wednesday, participating activists pledged to ensure security of Hindu society, preserve religious culture and take the organisation’s message to the masses.
Organisation secretary Nitin Bharat said, “Each organisation activist vowed to work in national interest by fostering social harmony and countering anti-national and anti-social elements. VHP activists are committed to cow protection, safety of Hindu women and daughters and upholding honor of temples, and revered saints. The awakening of Hindu valour has delivered a fitting reply to jihadists and conspirators behind forced conversions.”
Bharat said “Sanatan signifies the eternal and indestructible and those who attempt to erase it will perish. Anti-national and anti-religious elements in society often try to malign it by associating it with untouchability and other social evils, but Sanatan is our tradition, ingrained in every particle of this nation. Our mission is to foster cultural consciousness and public awakening.” He said it’s collective duty to awaken Hindu society through discourses, foot marches and conferences of saints and religious leaders.
“Volunteers after the training resolve to propagate Hindu pride and identity, prevent religious conversions and raise awareness within Hindu society about core ideals of VHP. Training camps provide us with opportunities to learn new techniques and cultivate values, discipline, tolerance, and physical and intellectual growth,” he said.
