It is almost a gap of almost three years that the TTD is carrying out Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams which was called off in the aftermath of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

The TTD which declared that all kinds of Covid-19 restrictions will be lifted off on all religious festivities in a phased manner in March this year, has finally revived Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams, much to the delight of the ardent devotees of Lord Venkateswara located across the country.

On the first day of the Vaibhavotsavams, devotees were allowed to take part in the special arjitha sevas including the Suprabhatam, Thomala Seva, Archana, Astadala Pada Padmaradhana seva etc early in the morning.

Later, a battery of temple priests led by the Tirumala temple chief priest A Venugopal Deekshitulu ceremoniously performed the Vasanthotsavam seva to the processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy and His two divine consorts Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi.

YSRCP Rajya sabha MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, his wife and TTD's local advisory committee president for New Delhi Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy, TTD officials, priests and scores of devotees took part.
