‘Cauterize stomach, hands’: AP Class 10 students torture hostelmate with hot iron box for reporting CCTV removal; ​​DEO confirms

RAJAHMUNDRY: In a disturbing incident at a private school hostel in Rajahmundry, two class 10 students allegedly tortured their classmate with a hot iron box.

According to reports, the victim had reportedly informed the principal about the two accused students removing CCTV cameras in the hostel, which led to a grudge against him.

The accused students then allegedly used a hot iron box to cauterize the boy's stomach and hands.

DEO Vasudeva Rao confirmed the incident and said that the victim did not disclose the incident until his mother noticed the injuries. Further probe is on into the incident.
