TIRUPATI: EPACK prefab, a leading manufacturer of pre-engineered buildings and pre-fabricated structures in India, created a record by establishing India's fastest built structure, covering a total area of 1.51 lakh square feet at the APIIC industrial park at Mambattu village in Tirupati district.

Golden book of records representatives who acknowledged the fete, presented a certificate of recognition to the EPACK prefab group representatives on Tuesday.

Speaking to TOI after inaugurating the newly constructed structure at the EPACK prefab manufacturing plant at Mambattu, group's managing director Sanjay Singhania stated that the group had invested about Rs.120 crore in the first phase while establishing it's third manufacturing plant in Mambattu village in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh and provides direct employment opportunities to 600 people.

"We have invested about Rs.85 crore additionally in the second phase and are in the process of generating about 350 plus direct employment opportunities more. And in the third phase, the company hopes to pump in an additional investment of Rs.100 crore and hope to expand and cater to the overseas markets by building our capacities at the Andhra Pradesh plant, which is strategically located close to the sea ports", Sanjay Singhania added.

EPACK prefab executive director Nikhel Bothra explained that the group sees tremendous business potential in the fields of industries, commercial establishments and institutional expansion, especially in the four southern states, which are prospering immensely in terms of business and growth in the last two decades.
