TIRUPATI: Spirituality and patriotism blended in with perfection at the 76th Republic Day celebrations observed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in Tirupati on Sunday.
In his Republic Day address, TTD EO J Syamala Rao briefed the Devasthanams employees about the numerous pilgrim friendly and employee friendly initiatives launched in the last few months and urged them to render impeccable services to the visiting devotees by drawing inspiration from the sacrifices of great Indian leaders and freedom fighters.
“Drawing inspiration from Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s Andhra Pradesh vision document 2047, TTD is also in the process of drafting the Tirumala vision document 2047 aimed at enhancing the spiritual aura of Tirumala besides bringing in monumental changes in the pilgrims’ amenities delivery systems”, Syamala Rao asserted.
TTD additional EO CH Venkaiah Chowdary stated that the Devasthanams had signed MoU with the TVS group to bring about significant improvements in the functioning of Annaprasadam canteens at Tirumala through which the Tirupati trust serves free food to millions of visiting devotees throughout the year.
“Similarly, TTD is roping in global giants in the fields of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence in order to provide a seamless pilgrimage experience to the visiting devotees”, Venkaiah Chowdary asserted.
Meanwhile, TTD EO and Additional EO presented medals and certificates to meritorious officers during the Republic Day celebrations held at the parade grounds in Tirupati on Sunday.
