Teen lovers commit suicide near Tirupati

TIRUPATI: Two lovers committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree inside the forest area near Bhakrapet in Tirupati district on Sunday. The deceased were identified as J Yugandhar (17) and B Kalyani (15).

According to police, Yugandhar, who belonged to Jogi Kotha Indlu locality near Chowdepalli, was in love with Kalyani, a resident of Chittevaripalli near Ramasamudram.

The young lovers were upset after their parents rejected their marriage proposal, and left home on August 18. The duo hanged themselves from a tree near the forest checkpost along Tirupati-Bhakrapet highway.
