YSRC MLA Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy leads massive bike rally at Srikalahasti

TIRUPATI: Having set it's sight on securing a landslide majority in the

Tirupati Lok Sabha bypolls

, the ruling YSR congress party led by its local legislator

Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy

took of an impressive

bike rally

in Tirupati and at

Srikalahasti assembly headquarters

in Chittoor district on Tuesday.

Accompanied by TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy, Rajampet MP PV Midhun Reddy and Dr Gurumoorthy, the YSR congress party candidate in the Tirupati LS bypolls fray,

Srikalahasti

legislator along with thousands of party activists took part in a mammoth bike rally which began at the outskirts of Tirupati and later culminated at Srikalahasti via Yerpedu.

The YSR congress party which is banking heavily on the image of Chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and the numerous welfare measures launched under the "Navaratnalu" flagship programme, is supremely confident of securing a huge majority in the LS bypolls slated to be held on April 17.

Addressing a public meeting following the bike rally held on Tuesday, Srikalahasti legislator Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy slammed the Telugu desam party and the BJP-Jana sena combine for resorting to false propaganda against the ruling party.

"The Tirupati Lok Sabha bypoll was necessitated by the untimely demise of our MP Balli Durga Prasad. The party leadership chose Dr M Gurumoorthy to be fielded in the bypolls because of the services rendered by him to the people of the temple city in the capacity as a physiotherapist. While he has already been serving the people in the capacity as a doctor, it is unfortunate that the opposition parties are trying to mislead the public by asking them not to vote for Dr Gurumoorthy because he will only serve YS Jagan", lamented the Srikalahasti legislator.

Underlining that the people of the state have not once but twice shown the right place which the opposition parties deserve in the state by rejecting them squarely in both the panchayat and civic polls recently held in the state, Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy exuded confidence that the voters of the Tirupati parliament constituency will yet again show the door for both the TDP and the BJP by giving a one-sided victory to the YSR congress party.
