AURANGABAD: Ladies and premium
tatkal quota tickets
can now be booked using the
integrated e-wallet
of the new
IRCTC mobile application
.
The e-wallet promises faster and hassle free transactions. Current reservation, boarding point change and one-step PIN based secure a login are a few other important features of the app, a latest communication issued by
IRCTC to its registered users stated.
Called 'IRCTC Rail Connect', the mobile application can be downloaded by Android users from Google Play.
Most users are very happy with the integrated e-wallet. "The older version used to divert users towards payment gateways after selecting the payment option. The embedded IRCTC e-wallet option will be the most secure way of payment," said
Shripad Ratnaparkhe
, a private employee, who books tickets frequently using the app.
