No rift with PM Modi or Shah, concerns over Ram temple already resolved: Pravin Togadia

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad founder Pravin Togadia on Thursday ruled out any differences with Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Union home minister Amit Shah, saying his earlier dissatisfaction was limited to delays in the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya."There is no dispute with PM Modi or Home minister Shah now. There were some differences earlier as the Ram temple was not being constructed promptly. That concern, however, no longer exists as the temple has now been built," Togadia said, while speaking to reporters at the conclusion of his two-day visit to the city. He said the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir fulfilled another long-standing ideological demand.Outlining his organisation's future plans, Togadia announced that 1 lakh "Hanuman Chalisa Kendras" would be established across the country. These centres, he said, would serve not only as spaces for collective prayers but also as community welfare hubs, offering services like healthcare and employment support, food distribution and financial aid to the needy. He said at least 29 such centres would be launched in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.Togadia also spoke about the proposed "one fist grain" campaign, under which citizens would contribute small quantities of foodgrain to build a collective reserve aimed at helping the underprivileged. Responding to a question, he said while govt was carrying out several welfare initiatives, civil society organisations must also play an active role in addressing social challenges.Highlighting health-related concerns, Togadia said India has a high number of diabetes patients and the proposed centres would provide free health checkups, including blood pressure monitoring and dietary guidance. He said the broader ‘Samruddh Hindu Abhiyan', which aimed to promote a disease-free life for one crore families, was already operational in around 250 districts, beginning from Bhopal and extending to cities like Nagpur, Akola and now Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
