3 Killed, 5 injured in Pilibhit road and rail accidents

Pilibhit: Three people were killed in separate road and rail accidents in Pilibhit since Monday night. Additionally, five others were injured in a collision between a bike and a tempo on Tuesday. The police sent the bodies for autopsy, and the injured were taken to a community health center for treatment.In the first incident, Udai Veer Singh Yadav, 40, from Dhundra village, was killed around midnight on Monday when his bike was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Bareilly-Haridwar NH 74 near Mundaila Gosu. Yadav, who worked at an industrial unit in Uttarakhand's Sarkara area, was commuting home at the time.SHO Brajveer Singh said He is survived by his wife, Soni Yadav, and three daughters: Roli (8), Shivani (5), and Bhavna (2).In another incident on Tuesday around 2 pm, Monu Gupta, 35, from Durga Prasad locality in Bisalpur, was killed in a head-on collision between his bike and a tempo on the Sharda River feeder canal bridge on Kalinagar-Madhotanda road.SHO Achal Kumar said five people, including two bike passengers and three tempo passengers, were seriously injured and taken to a community health center in Puranpur.Earlier on Tuesday morning, police found the mutilated body of a man in his 30s on the Pilibhit-Bareilly railway track near Shahi railway halt. SHO Sanjeev Kumar Shukla said the man, identified only by a tattoo of the name "Vineet" on his arm, appeared to have fallen from a train, but his identity remains unknown.
