Aditya, Sukruth guide FUCC (1) to victory

Bengaluru: Aditya Jha (127) and Sukruth B Kukke (4-43) helped Friends Union Cricket Club (1) beat Minerva Cricket Club by 33 runs in the KSCA Group I – I, II and III division U-14 inter-club tournament recently. Aditya’s 109-ball innings comprised 17 boundaries while Thushar Khande contributed with 36 as Friends Union were all out for 226 runs. Nischith Prasad, Dushyanth BV and Chetas H scalped three wickets each for Minerva, who in reply, were dismissed for 193 runs with Praneel GM (60) scoring a half-century. Besides Sukruth’s four-wicket haul, S Gaaurav and Harshvardhan Shahi also took two wickets each for Friends Union.
