BENGALURU: Central Crime Branch (CCB) police on Monday arrested two tattoo artists for allegedly peddling drugs at Parappana Agrahara. Sigil Varghese Mamparampil, 22, and his girlfriend Vishnu Priya S, 22, are residents of Kothanur in north Bengaluru.

Mamparampil is from Kottayam, Kerala, and Priya is from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The duo was arrested in March by Hulimavu police and hashish oil worth over Rs 7 crore was recovered from them.

Released on bail a few months ago, they continued peddling drugs. They did BBA from a city college, where they were classmates. They worked for a few months in a company and lived in a rented accommodation and freelanced as tattoo artists.
