NEW DELHI: Dharwad is one of Karnataka's 28 Lok Sabha constituencies. The 2024 general elections in the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, which includes the entire Dharwad district and a portion of Haveri district in Karnataka, took place on May 7. The constituency's demographics include approximately 174,261 Scheduled Caste and 84,542 Scheduled Tribe voters. Additionally, the constituency has a literacy rate of 70.16%, with 45.1% rural and 54.9% urban voters.
Pralhad Joshi of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wins in the Dharwad constituency by a margin of 716,231 votes.
