Will appoint a grievances minister to check corruption, says Karnataka CM D.K. Shivakumar
CM Shivakumar Thursday announced two new secretariats to strengthen governance - one for public grievances and another for NRIs.
A minister will be appointed for public grievances. Citizens facing administrative issues will be heard at least thrice a week; grievances will be examined for legality and facts."
Officials shouldn't face pressure from any caste or religion, or even from my office or those of ministers, present or past. The aim is a corruption-free govt."
