Multiple city areas hit by flooding and hail accumulation

Ashok Nagar and areas around Kanteerava Stadium witnessed thick hail cover for over 30 minutes. Streets turned into streams as drains overflowed, worsening flooding conditions in low-lying and commercial areas.

Key city zones submerged under 2–3 feet of water

MG Road, Indiranagar, Koramangala, Shivajinagar and other key areas faced severe flooding. Water levels rose up to 2–3 feet, leaving roads impassable and disrupting daily commute across Bengaluru’s major commercial and residential hubs.

Metro stations and railway station face flooding and disruption

Metro stations in southern Bengaluru were flooded, affecting road connectivity near Silk Board. At the railway station, a fallen tree damaged parked vehicles and caused temporary disruption in movement.
