Karnataka: 100% tax rebate for film ‘777 Charlie’

BENGALURU: The state government on Saturday announced 100% tax exemption for Rakshit Shetty’s film 777 Charlie. It will come into force on Sunday and last for six months.

The Kannada movie that celebrates the bond between a man and his dog and appeals to people to adopt stray dogs has been running to packed houses.

Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai couldn’t hold back tears when he watched it last week.
