Bengaluru’s infrastructure sees a major boost, with the city’s annual grant increasing from ₹3,000 crore to ₹7,000 crore. A 40.5 km double-decker flyover worth ₹8,916 crore will be built along with Namma Metro Phase-3. Additionally, ₹3,000 crore will be used for 300 km of new roads, and ₹660 crore is allocated for arterial road improvements.
Under ‘Brand Bengaluru,’ ₹1,800 crore has been set aside for 21 projects, including a ₹413 crore health program. Minority welfare gets a push with smart boards for madrasa students, ₹150 crore for Waqf property renovation, and ₹1,000 crore for the ‘Chief Minister’s Minority Colony Development Programme.’
Religious and community welfare allocations include ₹100 crore for Jain, Buddhist, and Sikh communities, ₹250 crore for Christian welfare, and increased honorariums for priests and clerics. A new authority will also oversee the development of the Buddhist site in Sannati, Kalaburagi.
