district has been arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl five years ago.
The accused,
Arif
from
Jakhir Khan Mohalla
, got the assault videographed by two of his associates and sent the clips to her husband, which resulted in the couple's divorce six months ago. The woman, now 20 years old, and a resident of Gaffar Khan Mohalla, lodged a complaint with police on Saturday evening after the gang started blackmailing her again.
Srinivaspur sub-inspector B R Jagadish said Tausiff and

, associates of Arif who worked at a car painting garage in Chintamani, are at large.
In 2012, Arif took away the girl, who resided in his neighbourhood, to a deserted place, gave her juice laced with sedatives and raped her. Though the girl brought the matter to the notice of her parents, elders in the community worked out a compromise and Arif was told to stay away from the girl. In 2015, the girl's family married off her to a mechanic in Hyderabad.
Arif, meanwhile, got the mobile nu mber of the woman's husband. He informed him that he has nude pictures of his wife and that they had raped her. When he termed their claims 'rubbish', the accused sent him the video clips of the incident.
Following divorce, the distraught woman returned to her parental home in Srinivaspur. The accused got in touch with the woman again and began blackmailing her to go with them. Fed up, the woman approached police.
