40-year-old newlywed dies by suicide in Bengaluru; husband booked

BENGALURU: A 40-year-old newlywed homemaker died by suicide in her Yeshwantpur residence.

The deceased is M Sharada, and her parents have filed a police complaint of abetment to suicide against her husband Mahesh Kumar, a private company employee.

“Mahesh and Sharada were married eight months ago and they lived in Yeshwantpur.

However, they frequently fought over trivial issues.

Depressed over the fights, Sharada hanged herself late in the night and the incident came to light when Mahesh broke open the door,” an officer said.
