The BJP incumbent, Raja Amareshwara Naik, despite his parliamentary participation, is seen as inaccessible and ineffective in addressing local development. Internal discontent within both parties and the neutral stance of former MP BV Naik further complicate the electoral dynamics. Voters, disillusioned with both parties, face a tough choice as they head to the polls.
